Ch ch ch, ouch ouch ouch

Being a slasher is dangerous work, and not just from victims fighting back with guns, sewing needles, and fire. Handling sharp tools, chainsaws, and other implements of destruction on a regular basis is bound to result in the occasional accident or, as illustrated above, repetitive muscle strain. Good posture, a relaxed grip, and a regular stretch regime are essential. Don’t worry though, a bit of rest, ice, compression, and Excedrin should have Jason back in fighting shape for this year’s special snowy Friday the 13th in December.

THE BLOB: IT EATS YOU ALIVE

Along with all of your snacks, furniture, and comic books. At least the victim in this cartoon made a noble effort to get rid of the alien attacker by… um… using his remote control? Sorry, dude, you can’t just turn off a blob attack like a bad horror sequel on Netflix — should have kept a flamethrower under that purple couch.

Now before some of you go accusing me of “fat shaming” people that lay around on the couch eating pizza and popcorn all the time, let me point out:

1) the guy ain’t all that fat (he’s only a blob in the evenings and that gut tucks in real well with a belt).

WHEN THE KILLER’S AWAY, THE COUNSELORS WILL PLAY

A lot can change in 10 years. Skinny dipping Suitors are now everywhere and the cafeteria has been turned into a meth lab. Jason hasn’t cleaned up Camp Crystal Lake since 2009 and the Millennials have moved in with their 21st century drugs and Comic-Con inspired sex practices. What are the film producers waiting for? Spin up that 13th movie already, it’s time for camp cleanup.

CAMP CRYSTAL METH

This whole cartoon began around that high brow idea for a caption. Crazy-eyed meth heads were going to be chasing Jason through the forest instead of the other way around. And then bong smoking furries with duck flippers showed up and the whole cartoon pivoted on its heels. That’s how these things work sometimes.

PURE EVIL RIDES PUBLIC TRANSIT

Not sure where this idea came from, but I have been riding the bus a lot lately. Hmmmm…

For anyone confused by the plot of this elaborate comic — yes, the little old church lady caused the black metalhead’s black metal head to explode simply by blessing his sneeze. Let this be a lesson to those of you who like to walk around town god-blessing everyone and everything. Evil is like nitro glycerine – sometimes even the slightest disturbance will cause it to explode!

Public transportation is definitely a good place to encounter folks from both sides of the religious spectrum provided you can avoid the giant nuts crowding the aisles.
