This was one of the first ideas I had for Grinsane, and I finally managed to draw it out – yay! This is the second zombie cartoon I’ve posted on Grinsane (see the first here), but I’ve got a couple more in preproduction. Zombies tend to come in packs, of course, and one easily begets another.

Now if you’re not a fan of gore, I understand, but lest you judge too quickly, have you ever tried drawing some? Dripping brains, swirly intestines, and other bodily horrors are actually quite fun to depict, just ask my nine year old nephew who is a veritable Leonardo da Vinci when it comes to drawing decapitations.

Now let’s dissect this cartoon: Who is the poor guy being used as a communications switch board? I really have no idea, but I think he may work for a major telecommunications company. He may have been going door to door trying to get people to switch their telephone service from one carrier to another. Or maybe asking them to add internet or home security to an existing package. His day was cut short before meeting his sales quota, but he was still able to deliver for the company. He’s now a land line.
