This uncomfortable procedure is also known as a Reverse C-Section or sometimes an F-Section or Fred Section. Fortunately there are no documented instances of this procedure ever taking place in hospitals that exist outside of the world of cartoon nightmares.
Originally this cartoon was going to be the Birth of Freddy Junior with joyful father Freddy proudly observing behind glass but I threw out the bathwater on that concept and just kept the baby. I also tried some other options with the umbilical cord but there were too many entanglements with Freddy severing his own nutrient tube. Although this cartoon isn’t canon it seem like a plausible nightmare scenario in any of the previous movies (or future ones?) The original movie had alternate endings so maybe alternate beginnings are in order, too.
